So for Labour Day weekend this year Simone and I decided we would take a trip to Seattle to see some family, have a little vacation and do a little back to school shopping. As it turned out we had a great time with my cousin and one of her sons, and landed up doing a little more shopping than I had hoped for. But we had a great weekend and I thought I would share some images of our short trip.

We couldn’t have had better weather for our trip!

When in Seattle you have got to go and check out Pike Place Market, it was a great place, just don’t go on a long weekend it was craaaazyyyy!!!!

One of the most famous attractions at the Pike Place Market is the World Famous Fish market. If you haven’t heard of it, here’s why it’s famous, when you order a fish they throw it from the display to the guy that weighs it.

Another must see at the market is the gum wall. That’s right, a gum wall. Believe it or not there is a wall at the market that is covered with gum. I have to admit, it’s cool, but disgusting at the same time.

We had lunch at a place called Lowell’s Fresh Market Kitchen, it was one of the best restaurant meals I’ve had in a long time. Good food, great price and a beautiful view over looking Puget Sound.

After we’d had enough at the market, we took off to a place called Mukilteo to hang out and play at the ocean.

Simone also got to go a couple store she’s heard so much about Target and Trader Joes.
